SEALED EKO PAK TRAYS ARE COMING SOON

You asked, we listened!

We’ve had a lot of people asking if and when our EkoPak products will be tray-sealable – and for looking for a quick answer: It’s coming soon! 

For those unfamiliar with the term, tray-sealable packaging is everywhere. Think of a regular ready-meal – food in a tray, sealed under clear plastic for re-heating in a microwave or conventional oven. It’s one of the most popular meal options for office workers, teachers and university students Australia-wide.

However, the vast majority of these containers are made from and sealed with plastic. These containers are single-use and over time build up a lot of waste that just ends up in Landfill. 

1Although both materials may be eligible for recycling, that won’t be enough for us! We would only release something we can be 110% happy with and know that it will align itself with the strong environmental goal of producing the best range of sustainable and compostable products on the market, reducing waste across the hospitality industry and providing exceptional customer service, super-fast order turnover and meeting all of customers needs efficiently.

We are pleased to let you know that this is something we are hard at work on. Our aim is to soon offer tray-sealable containers for your line of ready-meals, that can be composted whole Our Eko Pak compostable trays remain the same, with no linings and no chemicals. Ovenable, Microwaveable, Freezer safe – and soon ready to be tray sealed and reheated.
